He has been a part of group shows at Vanderbilt University, Vanderbilt Divinity, Downtown Presbyterian Church, and the University of Memphis. Steve loves working in various mediums including sculpture, pottery, drawing, painting, recycled materials, and photography. John was Nashville District Superintendent 2007–13, then assistant to the bishop and acting director of connectional ministries before retiring in 2017.
